Problem & Context

Nissia Holidays is a high-end travel agency offering curated luxury holidays across the Greek islands. While the brand had an excellent reputation, its visual identity and digital presence had grown outdated and fragmented.

I was brought in to lead a full refresh of the brand—starting from the logo and visual language all the way to a fully custom WordPress website that would house villa listings, travel guides, blog content, and an integrated booking system.

From the start, I worked closely with the CEO of Nissia Holidays to ensure every design decision aligned with the company’s values and vision for the future.

My Role

This was a solo, end-to-end project. I led the rebranding effort, designed the new identity, and developed a custom WordPress theme to support the company’s content and operational needs. My goal was to elevate the brand visually while making the user experience smoother, faster, and more intuitive across all devices.

Process & Approach

Refreshing the Brand

The first step was reimagining the brand identity. I redesigned the logo, created a refined color palette, and developed a new typographic system. The goal was to communicate luxury and professionalism while staying warm and approachable—just like the hospitality Nissia is known for.

The new style guide was designed to scale effortlessly across digital and print use, helping the team maintain consistency in everything from marketing materials to customer emails.

Designing a Seamless Experience

I mapped out a clean, mobile-first layout system that could adapt to Nissia’s evolving needs. The website now showcases:

  • A detailed listing system for villas and holiday packages
  • A dynamic travel blog
  • Island guides filled with helpful tips and recommendations
  • A streamlined booking flow that encourages exploration and conversion

Custom WordPress Development

I built a bespoke WordPress theme tailored to Nissia’s goals and content strategy. The backend is flexible and easy to manage, allowing their team to update listings, post articles, and make edits without relying on outside help.

Each feature—from image galleries to booking links—was designed to serve both travelers and the business, making it easy for users to plan their trip while supporting Nissia’s operational workflows.

Outcome & Impact

The rebrand brought a fresh sense of clarity and elegance to Nissia Holidays—both online and offline. The new website now fully reflects the premium experience that Nissia offers, and it has become a powerful tool for storytelling, marketing, and customer acquisition.

Beyond visual improvements, the project helped streamline how the business operates online. Everything lives in one place, from villa listings to travel content, and the site is flexible enough to grow with the company’s ambitions.

Working directly with the CEO throughout the process made a huge difference. We were able to align on vision, iterate quickly, and ensure that the final product truly captured what makes Nissia special.
